Complete setup using HP Easy Start

HP Easy Start will connect the printer to your computer, install print drivers, and set up scanning features (if applicable)

1 Make sure your printer is powered on

2 Install HP Easy Start to complete setup

To use all available printer features, you must install the HP Smart app on a mobile device or the latest version of Windows or macOS.

Set up scanning from a control panel (if applicable):

Set up additional scanning features (Windows only). Get started by selecting Install HP Easy Start above.

Note: To scan from a macOS computer, install the HP Smart app.

HP Easy Start software will run on Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 only. If needed, update your operating system to automatically get Service Pack 1. HP values that updated operating systems offer our users increased security and privacy protection.
